She made up her mind that she would except her boyfriend as he was, even if it meant not getting the attention she knew she deserved, I mean, he was sweet, he loved her, he didn't argue with her, he supported her decisions even if he didn't like it, he took care of her financially, he spoiled her with gifts & she always got flowers when they were upset. On the outside looking in, one would say "damn, she sure is lucky" & maybe she was but she couldn't help that she wanted more from him, more public display of affection, more quality time, more time to plan their future, call her selfish but she wanted him all to herself, she didn't want to share him with his friends... The same friends that took up most of his time, causing her to spend more lonely nights in his bed than she cared to remember.
